Meet Yara: A teenager in every sense of the word.

Boisterous, full of life, and blessed with the vertical leap of a dog training for the Olympics — Yara can clear a 6ft fence like it's a minor suggestion rather than a boundary. This is not a girl for insecure balconies, flimsy terraces, or anyone who underestimates a small dog with big ambitions.

But behind all that teenage energy is an absolute cuddle bug. Yara is extremely intelligent, fiercely loyal, endlessly curious, and radiates sheer, unfiltered joy at literally everything she encounters — a Hadida Ibis, a sock, you, existing. She's the kind of dog who makes ordinary Tuesdays feel like an event.

Because she's still working on her manners (namely, an enthusiastic habit of jumping up to say hello), Yara needs an experienced family who can carry on her training with patience and consistency. She's small, but she has the enthusiasm of something twice her size, so kids 12 and up tend to be the better fit — she could easily bowl over a smaller one purely out of excitement, not malice.

She's friendly with other dogs too, though she likes to take her time getting to know new friends properly — no instant besties, just a proper introduction period.

Yara's picture-perfect home has a garden to burn off that abundant energy, plenty of mental stimulation to match her sharp mind, and an endless supply of love, patience, and understanding. Give her that, and you'll have one of the most joyful, devoted companions you could ever ask for.
