Our Vision & Mission

Hope on four paws

Vision

A Kenya where every dog and cat is safe, healthy, and free from unnecessary suffering — where people and animals thrive together in compassionate communities.

Mission

Tumaini Tails Foundation rescues, cares for, and rehomes Kenya's vulnerable dogs and cats into loving homes. At the same time, our CSVR program — catching, sterilizing, vaccinating, and releasing free roaming animals — works at the source to end the cycle of suffering before it starts.

Our Approach

Lasting change requires both compassion and prevention. Our sanctuary, foster, and adoption programs give vulnerable animals safety and a second chance, whether that is a forever home or lifelong care. Our CSVR veterinary work addresses the root cause, stabilizing free roaming populations and delivering essential care to animals who would otherwise go without. Alongside this, we invest in community education to build lasting, humane coexistence, and report our impact transparently so supporters can see exactly what their generosity achieves.
