Foster & Boarding Volunteers

The homes and businesses that open their doors to give our animals safety and comfort while we figure out the next step for them.

  • Pet Village, led by Karanja and his team under Kelvin, has generously boarded our new rescues at no charge for years, while we cover the animals' vaccinations, medication, and food, giving us time to assess each one before bringing them fully into our care.
  • Top Tails Pet Services, run by Josephat, Patrick, and Timothy, has offered the same generosity over the past year.

Animal Welfare Organisations

Organisations we work closely with to rescue, treat, and rehome animals in need.

  • KSPCA — Formerly two organisations, KSPCA and TNR Trust, now merged, they have supported many of our dogs through vaccinations and sterilisations since our earliest days.
  • Pawmoja — We work with each other to place dogs wherever their needs can best be met, giving them a better chance of finding a foster or forever home.
  • Forever Home — Forever Home stepped up as our work grew, and continues to support our CSVR efforts for free roaming dogs we cannot yet help alone.
  • Nairobi Sanctuary for Stray Animals — Nairobi Sanctuary also lent a hand alongside Forever Home during that same period of growth.
  • Nairobi Feline Sanctuary and PurrsandPaws, always at hand to help with rescued cats in need of foster care.

Small Business

Local businesses who have generously supported our animals with services, and/or donations.

  • The Custom Made Canine dog trainer, Amy Rapp, generously offering puppy training classes and advice to our rescues and foster parents, setting them up for a smoother path to their forever homes.
  • Tails of the City — hosting adoption days and offering vet care at a fraction of the usual cost for our rescues.
  • Cosy Cushions Galore — Esther has been a wonderfully strong supporter, donating lovely dog beds tailored to our rescues and offering generous discounts on those we purchase.

Food Suppliers

  • Canine Bio — Supporting us since our early days, keeping prices low on food so every shilling stretches further.
  • Petstore — A long-standing supporter, from pallet and food donations and well below retail.
  • Aquapet — A recent addition to our circle of support, offering food and supplies at special partner rates.
  • Petzone — A new and welcome addition to our circle of support, supplying food and supplies at generously cut rates.
  • Farmer Max — Supplies frozen meats at a fraction of the usual cost, keeping our rescues well fed.
  • WHB — Also supplies frozen meats, priced well below market rate.
