Meet Shanzu: A Little Fox in Dog's Clothing (under KSPCA)

With his rich, russet-brown coat, Shanzu bears an uncanny resemblance to a fox who wandered in, liked the amenities, and decided against leaving. It's a fitting look, because Shanzu carries himself with a certain foxy charisma — sharp-eyed, quick-footed, and quietly convinced he's the most interesting creature in any given room. He may, in fact, be correct.

Compact in stature but grand in ambition, Shanzu has appointed himself Chief Security Officer of the household, conducting his patrols with the gravity of a dog who takes his responsibilities extremely seriously — right up until another dog appears, at which point all pretense of professionalism evaporates and he becomes a gleeful, full-speed enthusiast of the great sport of chase. He's house and leash trained, easygoing with people, children, and fellow dogs, and remains, underneath all that patrol-officer bravado, a devoted and thoroughly committed cuddle bug.

Shanzu isn't asking for much: a home to patrol, a fellow dog to chase on occasion, and a lap to formally claim as his own. Simple terms, really, for a dog of such evident distinction.
