Beds, Bellies, and Big Thanks to Petstore
Some donations come wrapped in bows. Ours came in a truck: sixty wooden pallets and a mountain of dog and puppy food.
The pallets are already becoming cozy, sturdy double-decker beds, the kind our residents fight (gently, mostly) over nap rights to. What was once destined for a warehouse corner is now prime real estate.
The food, over 190kg of it, means full bellies and happy tails for weeks to come, not just at the sanctuary, but for the dogs and puppies we support out in the wider community too.
There is something fitting about a pet store helping pets rest easier and eat well, one pallet and one kibble bag at a time. Thank you, Petstore, for turning timber into comfort and kibble into care.
