Meet Soju: Part Dalmatian Royalty, Part Walking Comedy Show (under KSPCA)

Soju cuts quite the figure — a strong, majestic build finished off with a scattering of Dalmatian spots down his back, like he was dressed by someone with a real eye for detail. He looks, frankly, like he should be posing for a portrait. Spend five minutes with him, though, and you'll realize the portrait would need to capture mid-goofy-grin, because Soju has never met a moment he couldn't turn slightly silly.

Underneath all that muscle is a genuinely sweet, gentle soul. He's well socialized with both dogs and people, and generally moves through life with an easygoing, friendly warmth — right up until treats enter the picture. At that point, Soju becomes utterly convinced that every treat is one heartbeat away from sprouting legs and making a run for it, and he will get delightfully, unnecessarily boisterous trying to secure it before this imaginary escape can occur. It's never mean-spirited — just Soju logic, and it's impossible not to laugh at.

Given his size and strength, Soju would do best in a home with children aged 12 and up, purely so playtime enthusiasm doesn't accidentally bowl anyone over. He's leash trained and adores long walks, is perfectly content entertaining himself, and will happily wander over for the occasional cuddle when the mood strikes. Soju isn't looking for a lot — just a home ready to laugh often, walk far, and maybe hide the treats a little more securely than usual.
